Mrs. Jovanna Powdhar graduated from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. During her study at U.W.I., she was selected and granted the opportunity to attend the University of Bogota, in Colombia, to further enhance her Spanish language acquisition and competence. She has been in the teaching service since 2004 and in 2012, she attained her Postgraduate Diploma in Education. She taught at the A.S.J.A College in Barrackpore, Carapichaima East Secondary School and is presently a teacher at St. Augustine Girls’ High School.
