My name is Mat Andall I was born on 2ND March 1951 I attended St. Joseph Government Primary and then Queens Royal College I went on to sixth form at POLYTECHNIC INSITUTE. After school I travelled for a couple years through out the Caribbean and Latin AMERCIA . I went on to be a Civil servant, afterward I worked in the telecommunication industry as a Fiber Optic Technician for over 30 years. Through out those years I consistently wrote poetry. To come to terms with the world around me and my culture. In 2008 I won the Express poetry prize welcoming the first black President of the USA.I have also been in the Steelband community for over 30years.
